As Noatum Lojistik Anonim Şirketi (the “Company”), we use our best efforts to protect your personal data. We pay attention to personal data processing and protection related to persons those benefit from our Company’s services, including but not limited to the executives, employees of companies which we provide services related to the Company. In compliance with The Personal Data Protection Law numbered 6698 (“PDPL”), within the concept of this responsibility, as Data Controller, we process your data as described below and within the limits of legislation. Personal Data refers to any information relating to you.

1.-Personal Data Processing, Collection and Its Processing Purposes

Your Personal Data may vary depending on the service or business provided by our Company; it may be collected automatically or by non-automatic methods through the Company’s offices, website, social media accounts and so forth in verbally, in writing or electronically. Your personal data will be processed and updated as long as you benefit from our services.

Your personal data will be processed within the conditions and purposes of personal data processing which is specified in PDPL to carry out the activities, meet the requirements provided by our Company in accordance with your needs and requests, provide better service to improve our communication with you, analyze the service to offer you special benefits, send commercial electronic messages in accordance with your  preferences, send mail, conduct surveys, make statistical analysis, ensure the legal and commercial security of our Company and persons having a business relationship with our Company (The administrative operations for communication carried out by our Company, ensuring the physical security and supervision of the Company’s locations, the evaluation processes of the business partner/customer/supplier (authorized person or employees), the legal compliance process, financial affairs etc.), determination and practice of our Company’s commercial and work strategies, ensure the conduct of our Company’s human resources policies.

On our website, your data are saved through cookies when you surf on web sites so that you can make more efficient visit. 2.- To Whom and How The Processed Personal Data Can be Transferred

Your personal data can be shared with the Noatum Logistics group companies located in Turkey and abroad Noatum Turkey Denizcilik Liman Ve Lojistik Hizmetleri A.Ş, Noatum Maritime Holdings, S.L.U.,  Marítıma Del Medıterráneo, S.A.U and  public institutions authorized by law and private persons, tax, accounting and finance consulting firms, law firms, IT firms, security firms, marketing firms, transportation companies to carry out the activities, meet the requirements provided by our Company in accordance with your needs and requests, provide better service by improving our communication with you, analyze those to offer you special benefits, send commercial electronic messages in accordance with your leave preferences, send mail, conduct surveys, make statistical analysis, ensure the legal and commercial security of our Company and persons having a business relationship with our Company (The administrative operations for communication carried out by our Company, ensuring the physical security and supervision of the Company’s locations, the evaluation processes of the business partner/customer/supplier (authorized person or employees), the legal compliance process, financial affairs etc.), determination and practice of our Company’s commercial and work strategies, ensure the conduct of our Company’s human resources policies. The personal data can be transferred within the framework of the personal data processing requirements and purposes set forth in PDPL. Your personal data may be kept either in Turkey or abroad for the purpose of achieving the abovementioned purposes and taking the necessary security measures.

3.- Method of Collection of Personal Data and its Legal Reason

Your personal data will be collected in any verbal, written or electronic environment in accordance with the abovementioned purposes with the intention of the services to be provided by the Company within the legal framework and fulfilling the obligations completely and in due form arising from the agreement or law in this context. Your personal data collected for this legal reason can also be processed and transmitted for the purposes which are stated in items (1) and (2) of this text within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes stated in PDPL.

Your personal data will be kept during the period set forth by applicable laws or during related legal periods which may necessary for the Company the cases in respect of protection and use of rights which the Company may have in possible future legal periods. At the end of this period, your personal data will be deleted, disposed or anonymized by the Company.

4.-The Rights of the Personal Data Owner as stipulated in Article 11 of the PDPL

As Personal Data Owners, in case you submit your requests regarding your rights to our Company through the methods set forth below, our Company will conclude the request, free of charge, within thirty days at the latest in accordance with the nature of the claim. However, if the transaction also requires an extra cost, you will be charged within the limits set by the legislation. These rights are:

  • request information on whether your personal data is processed,
  • request information on the processing of your personal data,
  • request information on the purpose of the processing activity and on whether the data is processed in accordance with the specified purpose,
  • be informed of the third parties who received such data, within the country or abroad,
  • request corrections if the data was processed in incomplete or incorrect manner and request notification of correction to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred;
  • request deletion and purging of such data and request notification of deletion and purging to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
  • object to adverse outcomes to be occurred when processing undergoes automatically;
  • claim compensation in case you suffer damages due to illegal processing of such data.

 

You can send your request to our Company for exercising your abovementioned rights by using written or registered electronic mail (“REM”) address, secure electronic signature, mobile signature or electronic mail address previously notified to the Company and registered in Company’s system; or by means of an improved software or application for the purpose of the application The application procedures are explained below to submit your written application to our Company.The following shall exist in the application;• Turkish ID Number for the citizens of the Republic of Turkey, nationality, passport number or, if any,  ID number,• If provided, notification e-mail address, telephone and fax number,

In order to exercise your rights specified above, you may send your request including your explanations regarding the right which you request to exercise among those specified in Article 11 of PDPL with the information necessary for identification and other information explained above and provide with your identification documents to the address of Rüzgarlıbahçe Mahallesi Şehit Sinan Eroğlu Cad. No: 6 Akel İş Merkezi A Blok Kat: -4 Kavacık / Beykoz Istanbul by return receipt request, though notary or other methods explained above or you may send your request to info@komet.com.tr address or kometdenizcilik@hs01.kep.tr REM address with the secured electronic signature.

The following shall exist in the application;

  • Name, Surname and, if application is in writing, Signature,
  • Turkish ID Number for the citizens of the Republic of Turkey, nationality, passport number or, if any, ID number,
  • Notification address of place of settlement or workplace,
  • If provided, notification e-mail address, telephone and fax number,
  • Subject of request,
